Greitens Gauge: I designed a gauge to be the visual representation of a PolitiFact team’s judgements of whether the Missouri governor is following through on his campaign promises. Still images were made for print use, and gifs were made to be displayed on the team’s page on the Columbia Missourian website.
Print headlines present a challenge: You must give the audience the message in a way that is not only clear but in a way that also fits in a designated space. There’s a special thrill to fitting in the perfect headline:
