Hello!
I’m Ethan May, an audience strategist and digital editor from St. Louis currently living in Washington, D.C.
I enjoy building, engaging and retaining audiences with high-quality content that puts users first.
After graduating from the Missouri School of Journalism at the University of Missouri-Columbia with an emphasis in news editing, I’ve worked at The Indianapolis Star, The Washington Post and NBC Universal.
At IndyStar I wore many hats, from digital producing to reporting to an editing role that included audience strategy and breaking news editing responsibilities. At The Post, I worked in Opinions, where I promoted enticing content from columnists and guests. At NBC, I create engagement strategies for a dozen local NBC stations, four regional sports networks and nearly two dozen Telemundo stations.
When I’m not working, you can find me watching the St. Louis Cardinals or Blues and taking entirely too many pictures of my cat, Rusty.
